Against Convinience and For Freedom
(Currently a WIP)
Before I discuss the two concepts in the essay, I think it is important to describe what do I exactly mean by the two concepts. Both concepts have been either on the same side, or the opposite sides of the conversation when people generally argue for and against. However, the meaning can differ in different cultural settings.
Convinience
Convinience refers to any service, entity which makes a certain task more feasible and easier to complete. It reduces the usual engagement (either the cognitive load or physical labour) required to accomplish a task
Freedom
Freedom is the ability to choose. The choice can be arbitrary, either self-serving or self-harming or neutral.
